Honda completely redesigned the Fit to give you an all-around better driving experience in the sporty style you know and love. And it’s hitting showrooms this summer.
Sleek Styling
Honda decided to go a bit more aggressive when it came to the exterior, giving the 2015 fit a more sophisticated and sporty style and an aerodynamic profile. We upgraded to larger 16-inch tires and a chrome tailgate garnish and rear diffuser to give it a more substantial and dynamic look. And, the Fit has kept a familiar footprint, but is slightly shorter and a bit wider, with a longer wheelbase, giving you even better handling.
Inside, you’re still going to see the Fit’s well-known class-leading interior space. We’re talking a increase in passenger volume and rear legroom, giving you a wonderfully comfortable ride from any seat. The Fit also features the Honda-exclusive Magic Seat® offering multiple configurable seating positions, providing an unrivaled 1492.3 L of cargo space when the second row seats are folded flat.
Just as good inside
Now that the 2015 Fit is giving you above-class styling, you need above-class technology to go with it. All 2015 Fit models had great standard features, including Bluetooth® connectivity, a multi-angle rearview camera, and Expanded View Driver’s Mirror. And when you go premium, you’ll be getting smart entry with push-button start, heated side mirrors, heated front seats, Honda’s exclusive LaneWatch™ display and a 7-inch Display Audio touchscreen interface with HondaLink™ smartphone connectivity. On top of that, for the first time, the Fit will be available with a moonroof and leather-trimmed seating.
Improved performance and safety
Honda debuts the all-new direct-injected 1.5-litre DOHC i-VTEC engine in the 2015 Fit, which increases the horsepower and torque compared to the outgoing engine – and still reducing the weight and improving efficiency. You will also see two new transmissions – 6-speed manual of CVT – and superior acceleration and passing performance.
The 2015 Fit also features the most extensive use of ultra-high strength steel in the model’s history, giving you increased body stiffness while reducing platform weight. Equipped with the next generation of the Honda Advanced Compatibility Engineering™ (ACE™) body structure, the Fit is anticipated to earn top safety scores from the U.S. NHTSA and IIHS, including a NCAP 5-Star Overall Vehicle Score and a TOP SAFETY PICK rating with a GOOD rating in all IIHS test modes.
