Introducing the 2019 Honda HR-V
The Honda HR-V has established its reputation as a versatile and sporty 5-door subcompact SUV that consumers love. It fits into every lifestyle, ready for any grand adventure (or even making life’s routine errands adventures in their own right). Honda has recently unveiled the full spectrum of updates for the 2019 HR-V, with new features and two new trim levels.
New Features
The refreshed 2019 Honda HR-V comes with a number of new features and technology. The versatile and sporty vehicle now comes with a standard Honda Sensing® suite of driver assistive safety features, a first for the vehicle. The suite includes the Collision Mitigation Braking System, Forward Collision Warning, Lane Departure Warning, Road Departure Mitigation, Adaptive Cruise Control, and Lane Keeping Assist. These features come standard on all trims.
The 2019 HR-V also features a new Display Audio system, with a simplified user interface with a volume knob and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. Available exclusively in the 2019 Honda HR-V Touring trim is a navigation system that has been improved with better graphics and 3D landmarks, making navigating any route easy.
New Honda HR-V Sport Trim
For the first time in 2019, Honda has released an HR-V Sport trim. The Sport trim has a youthful and unique styling, with a unique lower body trim. The lower front and rear bumper are painted a glossy black, along with glossy black rocker panels and wheel arches. The HR-V Sport also features a honeycomb grille pattern, and trim exclusive 17-inch 2-tone alloy wheels and tires. The chrome exhaust in the rear finishes off the new look.
The youthful aesthetic is also featured throughout the interior of the HR-V as well. The cabin features a blackout headliner and contrast stitching on the seats. The steering wheel is leather covered, and the updated styling offers sport-style pedals. The 2019 Honda HR-V Sport (AWD) has an MSRP of $28,600.
New Honda HR-V Touring Trim
New this year as well is the 2019 Honda HR-V Touring trim. This top of the line trim flanks the honeycomb grille that adorns the front of the HR-V with multi-element Honda LED headlights. These headlights are unique in the HR-V lineup, as are the available 5-element LED fog lights.
The HR-V Touring does come with a similar lower-body trim that the Sport features, however, the body is painted colour rather than a gloss black. The colour options for the 2019 HR-V include Orange Burst Metallic and Platinum White Pearl. The HR-V Touring begins at an MSRP of $31,800.
