The 2016 Honda Pilot Set to be Revealed!
The Honda Pilot is getting a new look for 2016. The newly redesigned three-row, eight passenger SUV will be revealed on February 12 at the Chicago Auto Show and the Canadian International AutoShow in Toronto.
Honda recently released a photo tease suggesting the third-generation SUV presents a sleek silhouette with an edgier style, a dramatic change from it’s traditional boxy frame. Honda’s Senior Vice President and General Manager, Jeff Conrad, believes the new Pilot will “raise the bar in a segment it helped to create” by offering “more innovation, style, premium features and family utility than ever before”. The redesign comes at a time when Pilot sales have dropped in Canada. The major refresh of the SUV is expected to boost sales of the Pilot, which was last redesigned in 2008 (with a minor refresh in 2012).
The Pilot’s reveal will come along side a preview of the new design direction of the Ridgeline pickup, which has been out of production for the past two years.
